Game 1: The two stud starters for each team take the mound in what was figured to be a pitchers showdown. Unfortunately for Dat Boy X and Clayton Kershaw it didn't go that way as the Wolves jumped him early scoring 7 runs in the first 2 innings. Justin Verlander was as good as expected going 8 innings allowing 3 runs on 6 hits, striking out 16 batters.
GAME 2
Game 2 felt like a must win scenario for Dat Boy X, not wanting to have to go back to Wisconsin down 0-2. The Wolves start out hot again scoring 2 runs in the opening inning, Their postseason has seemed to be scoring runs early and keeping them down from the start. Bottom of the 4th Dat Boy X offense strikes back, stringing multiple hits together scoring 5 runs, a missed double play for the Wolves allowed the run to begin. The Wolves had 2 base stealers thrown out in the game but a Jesus Aguilar 2-Run Home Run in the bottom of the 8th put the game fully out of reach as Dat Boy X ties the series up 1-1, winning the game 7-3.
I see 4 outs in the 5th, DBX batted through the order in the 4th, so the first gb out is the last out of the 4th
That is correct, 2 games played, both games ending up 7-3 with a win for both sides. 10 runs a piece with 5 games to go.
Game 3
The pitchers duel we all expected was the third starters on each team right??? a combined 12.1 IP and 5ER while they were in the game is surely short of the 7-3 bashes we had been having the first two games. That Wisconsin ball park must be a pitchers stadium. Unfortunately for Dat Boy X those five runs were 3-2 in favor of the Wisconsin Wolves and they held the game from that position to win the game 3-2.
These GIFs are AMAZING, had me rolling with laughter!! That said, let's keep it going Craig!!! AAAA-OOOoooOOOOoooOOOOO
