2019 Showdown Cup League Season 2: All Free Agents Team

So I am writing this after the waiver period, and a ton of free agency moves have been made. Some of these guys may get picked up in the time I finish writing this article. But for the fun of it here is the best team I can make with the available players.

Sadly Tim Anderson is the first player to miss the cut


Rotation: Very average starters, no ace to make the team as deadly as it can be, but the balance could help them in games 2-4.

Bullpen: Low control bullpen, all you guys scooped up the 4 and 5 controls very fast. I went based on remaining highest tiers, not points.

Lineup: As many have noticed, the amount of hitting in this set is so deep. A powerful lineup of good hitters, and they can score with the best of them. Pitching is what would hold this team back from competing.

This team comes in at a grand total of 5650 points, with a few moves this team could be right there at 5000 points and ready to compete, but don't worry, no more teams are being added to the league.
