ALL DECADE DODGERS

Despite dominating the NL West in the regular season throughout the Decade, the Dodgers have zero World Series to show for it while their arch-rival Giants took home THREE titles. However, LA has a small consolation -- their All Decade team looks much better than San Fran's on paper... and, in fact, looks to be a top flight contender for the All Decade crown! The lineup is stacked with guys combining high OB with high power, a surprising amount of speed, and really lacks any weak points. The rotation is led by Cy Young Kershaw and Grienke -- no surprise there! Potential 2019 Cy Young winner Ryu is the #3 pitcher!! And the bullpen has, of course, super dominant Tier 0 Kenley Jansen. Overall, there isn't any obvious weakness to the team (maybe the backend of the bullpen, which is a huge stretch) and the Dodgers are looking like the frontrunner for the NL Pennant..... but of course, that's true of most years in the 2010s and, yet, zero World Series trophies.

I won't be the one to blame Kershaw -- the dude had MULTIPLE Tier 1 seasons in the 2010s!!

Lineup: The Dodgers don't have a hitter under 440 points until.... the ninth hitter. Holy cow!! Coming in at 4340 points, these nine players are basically a full fledged, regulation Showdown team (and average over 480 points per player)! The lineup begins with an unorthodox leadoff hitter, but Justin Turner is an OB 10, on at 3 with LOTS of hits on his chart and A speed. A pair of 600 point STUDS is up next. 2011 Matt Kemp (Colby chart, one of the BEST of the first set I got from him) has everything you can want in a card -- OB 10, 18-20 HR power, XB at 12, A(22) speed, and +3 fielding -- he does it all (and should've been the 2011 MVP)! Potential 2019 MVP Cody Bellinger brings another all around, bonkers good card to the 3 hole! He's got 17-20 HR power with his speed A, OB 10 swagger. Cleaning up is the 2B (a rarity), as Max Muncy put together back-to-back OB 10 seasons with 30+ HR power. The OB 9 shortstops that follow the OB 10 quadruplets are no slouches either, with Machado providing 17-20 HR and 14-16 2B power and Seager giving them extra bases at 13 with plenty of homer pop. Joc Pederson hits seventh... with an OB 8, HR at 15 card that'd be cleaning up for a lot of ALL DECADE teams!!! 470 point, OB 10 and speed A Puig (beautifully made by Matthew P) hits eighth and should be setting up the lineup as it turns around... finishing it up is the *mere* 300 point Grandal, who continues the All Decade trend of OB 8, 2B at 15, HR at 18 catchers. Overall..... I think they've got a strong case to be the best lineup we've seen so far!

Rotation: I do declare the Dodgers to be the first (but not the last) team to roll out a PAIR of Tier 1 starting pitchers at the top of their rotation. Moreover, that they're bringing out a pair of Control 5, on at 18 pitchers is devastating to their NL West foes... good night Giants batting order. The Dodgers round out the rotation with a pair of Tier 2 aces from the tail end of the decade. First is Cy Young frontrunner Ryu, who's got a lethal no doubles, Control 4, on at 18 card. Essentially, he's the Royals "ace" Grienke and he's the distant #3 starter for LA. Rounding it out is Walker Buehler's rookie card, which has been corrected after a mathematical error bumped him in the 2018 set creation... you see, Buehler only pitched 137 innings, so he got adjusted in the calc process... and somehow, his original ERA was entered as 2.76 rather than 2.62, which unfairly knocked him down during the adjustment. He earned *this* card, which should supplement the original, incorrect one. I'm editing the 2018 Dodgers team to save future players from using the mistake one and I apologize for the error, but I'll always seek to fix the players to ensure the most accurate cards I can make! On that note..... dang, these Dodgers are SCARY good and I fear what this staff is going to do with the run support provided by the lineup above!!

Bullpen: Now it's just getting unfair... how did this franchise not win a World Series this decade?? An unreal Kenley Jansen is at the top of the bullpen for the Dodgers, a Tier 0 with a giant K range and no doubles. He's backed up by a Dodgers All Star that I think most of us forgot about, Tier 1 Hung-Chih Kuo. Then we've got a 2 IP guy from the other end of the decade with 2019 Urias! He's Tier 2 and super reliable. As a fourth option, the Dodgers bring out a Tier 2, Control 6 reliever in the lowkey JP Howell. Rounding it out is another Tier 2 in Pedro Baez, a solid Control 4. Overall, the Dodgers have a total Tier of 9, with no one worse than a Tier 2 -- meaning that the Dodgers will never have to send out a pitcher who's worse than a Tier 2!!!

Overall...... wow, there really aren't any adjectives that aptly describe how incredible this team is.... so, good luck to the NL West, you're facing an absolute behemoth. The Dodgers total 8010 POINTS!!! Honestly, stunning that it took SUCH an incredibly deep and impressive team to bust through the 8000 point barrier, and here it is! On the whole, this team is unbelievable and definitely the one presumed to win it all in the All Decade league!!!! Alright, so here's the new standings:
