2018 MLB Hall Of Fame

I made a few of the guys that were inducted into the hall of fame this past summer into a subset type of card. I made this back in August and never got it typed up and ready to post and i figured a little late is better than never. Lets enjoy there 4 players and some of the great seasons they had with each team they had played for.

We already have 95, 97 and the MLB showdown original Chipper Jones, and now we have his 2008 resurgence where he had his highest on-base percentage and batting average in his career. He had a 20 home run 20 double season but the high on-base gives you a version of Chipper that can get some runners on the move.

2002 Jim Thome will always be special to me for because i went to the game when he hit his 50th home run of the season and it was a cool moment because my dad took me to the game just because of the chance he may hit #50. This card is a monster for the middle of the order with tons of home run pop.

The villain Jim Thome for me as he left the Indians for the Phillies and continued his home run surge but also was able to add in some doubles to make this card just as dangerous with a lower on base.

Jim Thome then became a member of the White Sox and 2006 was his last 40 home run season in his career. He was only a DH at this point of his career but he can still be a valuable piece to any team.

What a season for Vlad Guerrero in 2002, he stole 40 bases, with 37 doubles and 39 home runs, while also having his cannon of an arm in the outfield. There really isn't anything that this card can't do and just like Vlad in real life, you want him in your order.

2004 MVP Vlad Guerrero in his first year with the Angels won his only MVP award. The speed was no longer there, but 39 doubles and 39 home runs along with 206 hits just like his 2002 season Vlad could hit any pitch.

End of the career DH Vlad Guerrero is a utility player at this point, but he still hit 30 doubles on the season and this was his last year of his career.

Trevor Hoffman was so tough to face, but in the 98 season he finished 2nd in Cy Young voting as a closer. 53 saves on the year and this all star closer can back end a bullpen on any line up.

A decade and new team later Trevor Hoffman was still dealing. An all star season with 37 saves and his second to last year in the big leagues.
