2013 Detroit Tigers

The 2013 Detroit Tigers won their third straight American League Central Division Championship with a record of 93-69. The defeated the Oakland Athletics in 5 games and then fell to the Boston Red Sox, whom are already posted on this site, in their third straight ALCS. The regular season team took home plenty of hardware as well. Miguel Cabrera won his second consecutive AL MVP Award, and Max Scherzer won the AL Cy Young, with rookie Jose Iglesias finishing runner up to Wil Myers for AL Rookie of the Year.
Lineup: The lineup doesn't jump off the page at you and make you shake in your boots. But the 3-4-5 for this team can do enough damage that a little help every once in a while from the rest of the roster can lead them to quite a few victories.

Rotation: The rotation is a very strong pitching staff lead by Justin Verlander and Cy Young Winner Max Scherzer. The bottom half of the rotation can do plenty of damage on the mound themselves. Strong outings will be needed from these four if this team will want to contend.

Bullpen: The bullpen will probably be the downfall of this team over the long run. A solid closer and set up man back ended by two weak arms, if the starters have to exit early can be trouble for the Tigers unless the offense brings the boom.

Here are the non all star versions of the Tigers players if you prefer one solid color
