2018 MLB SHOWDOW SET - BOSTON RED SOX

Back to the AL. I know I started off with my favorite team last time, but now we can release the best AL team! With a whopping 108 regular season wins and a complete domination of opponents from hitting to pitching it is no wonder the Red Sox took home the World Series title. But in the showdown world how do they measure out. Their team roster is a very impressive 5,610 pts, only second to one other team. They also have this year's AL MVP! Listen to the podcast below to get a more in depth look at the team and creation.

We will start off as usually with the stacked lineup the Red Sox have. And even some late season playoff and world series heroes made the roster.

That line up is crazy, it's filled with high fielding players and high OB players. I assume a lot of players from this team will be drafted in a regular draft and will be hard to beat in a head to head match up.

As we move onto the pitchers they won't be as strong as the Indians we saw earlier but they are nothing to sleep on either.

Chris Sale had a monster of a season. Not as big as he wanted and if he would've had the innings he could have seen a CY Young he was that dominant. His card shows that. As well as the card I like in this grouping for 450 pts getting a 5 control 1-15 out pitcher is huge in David Price. But we will see what you guys think as well as how people draft it.  Nathan Evoldi just missed the cut for having a card, but look for him in the spring's Pennant Run edition!

The relief staff was ok..... not as bad as the Indians, but they weren't good -- really, they were led by Craig Kimbrel. He is the only guy I see being drafted out of this bullpen. But Boston should still fair well in a head to head matchup.
