2018 Definitive Draft Podcast

betts and sale
ReplyDeleteAccording to my formula, Trout comes in just ahead of Betts at 7 runs created and Betts at 6.73 runs created, the top two cards in this years set.
ReplyDeleteDeGrom comes in as the top card in the set with 4.9841 runs against, and Sale is the #4 card behind Snell and Bauer at 5.2580 runs against. If you weight it with them pitching their innings max and an average pitcher finishing the rest of the game Sherzer sneaks ahead of Degrom and Sale drops off a bit.
With the eye test I would've taken DeGrom and then it would've been a flip of the coin but leaning Trout just cuz I'm a Yankees fan. Great job on the cards this year!
