The Kansas City Royals absolutely bludgeoned the 13 Red Sox and took them officially out of the playoff rankings scoring 20 runs. The Mariners eliminated the Astros with a win, the Blue Jays shot themselves in the foot with their 3rd blown save of the tournament and lost to the White Sox in extras to a Juan Uribe Grand Slam. While the Yankees beat the 07 Red Sox moving the Yankees into the playoffs.
