Flashback Friday: Bo Jackson

Everyone knows about the legendary Bo Jackson, the Heisman winner who dominated Tecmo Bowl and the NFL while being an elite enough baseball players to make an All Star game. Perhaps the best two-sport athlete we've ever seen, Bo's career was unfortunately and famously cut short due to a football injury. I'd write more, but I have a feeling we've all seen his 30 for 30 by now (and if you haven't, definitely watch it!).

Bo's best baseball season came in 1989, when he made the All Star game and bashed 32 HRs in 515 ABs while stealing 26 bases. Jackson finished tenth in the MVP voting as KC won 92 games. During his four real years with the Royals from 1987 thru 1990, Jackson clobbered 107 HRs while hitting a respectable .252. If Bo had taken a few more walks (and struck out less), his card would be greatly improved. However, as it stands, Bo mixes great power with elite defense and top-notch speed, Bo Jackson's a valuable asset to slide into a corner outfield slot for only 300 points.

    1. OB 3, HR at 12 :P

BUT what if Tebow had a special "team leader" factor that raised all his teammate's on-base by 1??

Tebow would actually be an OB 7 this year (albeit in the minors)!

  3. Whenever I look at making a minors player for a major team, like u said Tebow would be a 7 I would make his card out, and once all the stars were in place and such I would drop his on base by 1
